1) Team Forfeit Fee: 1 st Offense $50, 2 nd Offense $100, 3rd Offense $150, 4th Offense League SUSPENSION
Forfeiting team must also cover expense of all referees FULLY if they can NOT be cancelled.
2) Teams have until 3 days prior to game time to postpone a game. The Referee Assigner, the other team, and the appropriate commissioner must be notified. The game must be rescheduled ASAP, or a forfeit will be awarded.
Game Report / Game Results
After a game, the winning team, or both teams in case of a tie, must call/text in scores to their respective league commissioner. Scores must be called in by end of day, Sunday. Referees shall mail the paper match report to the respective league commissioner. The referee shall also submit a GAME REPORT on the www.pslchicagoland.com web page and in the case of a red card sendoff, fully describe the offense in both the paper game sheet and the online game report. All Red Cards should be included in the mail with the paper game sheet. ALL injuries must also be reported on the game report to document the injury.

Fouls and Misconduct Punishments for Sending Off
Offenses
1) 2 yellow cards in one game - One game suspension, $50 Fine at discretion / review by Commissioner & League Board.
2) (Red Card) Denying a Goal Scoring Opportunity - Mandatory 1 game suspension, $50 Fine at discretion / review by Commissioner & League Board.
3) (Red Card) Serious foul play - Mandatory 1 game suspension, and a minimum $50 Fine or more based on decision by league commissioner using the referee report as a guide.
4) (Red Card) Violent Conduct - Mandatory 1 game suspension, and a minimum $50 Fine or more based on decision by league commissioner using the referee report as a guide.
5) (Red Card) Spitting at another Player/Referee - Mandatory 1 game suspension, and a minimum $50 Fine or more based on decision by league commissioner using the referee report as a guide.
6) (Red Card) Assaulting or Striking a Game Official - Mandatory league expulsion for one season, plus any other punishment deemed appropriate by League Board. Possible life suspension from the PSL and the incident will be reported to the ISSA. The team will be fined $100.
7) (Red Card) Abusive language - Mandatory 1 game suspension, $50 Fine at discretion / review by Commissioner & League Board.
8) Ejected player or players must leave the immediate grounds of the field or facility.
9) If a player plays in multiple divisions in the PSL, an ejection for Violent Conduct, Spitting or Striking a Game official applies to all divisions. The minimum suspension will be served in all divisions.
10) The League Commissioners or their designees reserve the right to administer punishment for conduct in a game, notwithstanding the decision(s) or lack of decision(s) by a referee in that game.
Repeat offenders penalties are as follows:
1) (Red Card) 2 Yellow Cards in One Game and/or Scoring Opportunity - Additional 3 games suspension and mandatory $50 fine.
2) (Red Card) Serious Foul Play, Violent Conduct, Spitting, and/or Referee Abuse (2+ Instances) - Minimum 3 game suspension and mandatory $100 fine. League Board review prior to re-instatement.
3) 3 Yellow Cards in One Season - 1 game suspension.
4) 6 Yellow Cards in One Season - 3 game suspensions. League Board review prior to re-instatement.
If a referee stops a
game because of a Referee Attack, or Referee Abuse, the team that is not
involved in the incident for stopping the match will receive a 3-0 forfeit win regardless of what the score was.
